Local History Museum
Overview
The Otobe Community Center has a local history museum that displays earthenware from the Jomon period excavated in the town, as well as various materials that provide insight into the history of industry and the process of change since the Edo period. In addition to fishing and farming tools that are rarely seen today, visitors can catch a glimpse of herring fishing in its heyday.
