Tatezouzan Panorama Route
Overview
This is a scenic 4-km road maintained in the mountains near "Tatezouzan Park" in Setana-ward, offering a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. The scenery is beautiful with large S-shaped curves and meadows on both sides, and the mountains surrounding Setana can be seen in the distance, including "Mount Kariba" and Yurakubudake. The windmills along the road, which have been in operation since 2020 as the "Osato Wind Farm" to effectively utilize the wind from the Sea of Japan that blows over the hill, are a spectacular sight to behold. In addition to driving and touring, it has become a popular place for cycling in recent years.
