SPOT
Sanbonsugi Iwa <Kariba Motsuta Provincial Nature Park>
Sanbonsugi Iwa is a symbol of Setna Town. It is about 30 meters high, made of hard black pyroxene andesite, and the upper part of the rock is lined with rock pine trees and plants peculiar to cold climates. Two of the trees are connected at the base, but the remaining one is somewhat isolated and separated from the rest. The three cedars of Setanai are the masters of the three cedars of Setanai, and two of them are separated and I am alone. It is likely that the poet felt the sorrow of unfulfilled love from the one remaining cedar. The area around Sanbonsugi Iwa is home to bathing beaches, restaurants, and souvenir stores, and is a must-visit point when visiting Setona. The sunset over Sanbonsugi Iwa is very beautiful and popular as a photo spot. This view is designated as part of the Kariba-Motsuta Provincial Natural Park.
Photo point:
The entire Sanbonsugi Rock and the Osato Wind Farm windmills are reflected from the side near the Babagawa River sluice gate.
