ARINCO MOU DASH" is written "ARINCO MOU DASH". At first glance, you may not know what kind of restaurant it is, right? It is actually a very popular cafe in Otaru. Moreover, there are so many kinds of omelettes on the menu that you might think it is a restaurant specializing in omelettes. We paid a visit to this restaurant that has a lot on its mind.

You will see a building with a triangular roof at the top of Funamizaka Hill in Otaru. This is the cafe "Alinkomoudash" we will introduce to you.

It opened in 2015 and moved to its current location in 2021. The reopening was on March 3, 2021, the third day of the third month of the third year of the lunar calendar.

The interior of the store, based on a white color tone, is very clean and has a lovely impression. In a corner of the store, accessories, sundries, and vegetables are sometimes sold.

On the right as you enter, you will find a variety of delicious-looking "muffins of the day" (from 320 yen including tax). You can eat them in the store or take them out. The variety changes daily, and about five types are always available.

Clockwise from the top in the photo are "Earl Grey Strawberry Mascarpone," "Chocolat Orange," "Caramel Banana," and "An Butter Mascarpone. They are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the large ingredients are filling enough to satisfy your appetite. If you eat it for breakfast, you will feel happy from the morning!

The signature dish at Alinkomoudash is the omelette rice. The omelette wrapped in an egg is beautiful to look at and shows off the chef's solid skills.

Among them, the "Ketchup Omurice" (780 yen including tax) is a traditional, orthodox style! But there are also other varieties, such as creative omu-rice and omu-rice with grilled cheese, so omu-rice lovers will have no choice but to keep coming back.

After eating a traditional omelet, how about this sweet for dessert? It is called "old-fashioned pudding" (380 yen including tax). It is a firm pudding that is the complete opposite of the once popular melt-in-your-mouth pudding. The slightly bitter caramel also gives it a retro, nostalgic feel.

How did they come up with such a unique name? When we asked the store owner, he replied, "Actually, we came up with the name of the store first. The name "Alinkomoudash" came to him in a flash, and he wanted to create a store with this name.

It's funny how that led to the creation of such a wonderful café.
