At the Noboribetsu City Local History Museum, 46 cherry trees of six varieties bloom over the course of about a month, with the rare Gyoikou cherry tree, which has pale green petals, being particularly popular. Cherry blossoms blooming at the remains of a jin'ya surrounded by greenery at the Mororan Jin'ya Ruins (Muroran City), the remains of the jin'ya of the Southern Domain of Eastern Ezo
