What's So Special About Lavender Fields? More Than Just a Pretty View! [Dropkick on My Devil! X Mame Anime Collab (3)]
Our collaboration with 'Dropkick on My Devil! X Mame Anime (Hokkaido Arc)' and Domingo kicked off this spring! Let's find out where in Hokkaido was featured this time. Here's the third episode that was broadcast!
When it comes to beautiful lavender fields like the ones in the anime, Furano is without a doubt the most famous place.

In Furano, farms are scattered throughout the region, and it takes over an hour to drive from one end to the other. That's right, there are lavender fields all over this vast area. That's Hokkaido for you!

The best time to see them is from June to August. The blooming period varies slightly depending on the altitude of the fields and the type of lavender, so it's a good idea to pick a farm you want to visit and check the best time to go.

The sight of the rolling hills dyed in purple is simply breathtaking! The wonderful, characteristic scent of lavender also fills the air. If you look closely, you'll see that each flower is very lovely.

Also, as introduced in the anime, lavender is sold in the form of various products. In addition to dried flowers and aroma oils, there are also edible treats like herbal tea and soft-serve ice cream! Each farm sells its own original goods and gourmet items, so that's another thing to look forward to.

Besides the farms, you can also find many lavender-related products at 'Furano Marche' in the city of Furano. This is a must-visit spot when you're in Furano!

Standing in a lavender field and taking a deep breath of its fragrance is sure to be a healing experience! Enjoy the beautiful scenery, relax, eat delicious food, and buy souvenirs. Make the most of your visit!
Stay tuned for the next installment of our collaboration with 'Dropkick on My Devil! X Mame Anime (Hokkaido Arc)'!
