"KIBORI", a restaurant with 1,000 wooden carved bears, is opening in Shinjuku, Tokyo and is sure to be a spectacular sight!
Wooden carved bears are known as a representative folk craft of Hokkaido. A Hokkaido restaurant called KIBORI, which has gathered 1,000 such bears, will open in Shinjuku, Tokyo on November 30, 2022.
The overwhelming store is filled with wooden carved bears! Apparently, over 100 of the wooden carved bears in the store were donated by members of the public. Wooden carved bears that had been lying around in people's homes are being put to new use.
The restaurant is divided into two sections: a lively show restaurant with a theme of "UMI (sea)" where you can enjoy fresh seafood from Hokkaido, and a floor with a theme of "DAICHI (earth)" where you can enjoy barbecues centered around cheese, vegetables, and meat.
