First appearance in Sapporo. Already a popular restaurant!
Kitasutei is the conveyor-belt sushi brand of D.C. Corporation, which also operates the yakiniku restaurant "Brusta" and the pork cutlet specialty restaurant "Katsuyoshi. It offers fresh seasonal ingredients purchased from port towns throughout Hokkaido. This is the first entry into Sapporo, and in addition to sushi, the restaurant offers a variety of side dishes such as octopus zangi, homemade chawanmushi, and seafood tempura. Although it has only been open for a short time, many people visit the restaurant every day.
The best ingredients are the ones that are standard items. Experienced brokers are "connoisseurs".
He has a network of middlemen in each area, and they are connoisseurs of freshly landed marine products. The fish is shipped directly from the place of production, so it is transported in less than a day. The company also minimizes the loss of freshness by pre-processing the offal, which is prone to damage, on site. Under the motto of "good products at good prices," our brokers carefully select the best products at that time. The excitement of waiting to see what is recommended for the day until it arrives at the restaurant is also a fun part of the experience.
Hokkaido wagyu beef sushi is also available! A rich menu for families!
The regular menu includes not only tuna, but also hand-pulled sweet shrimp from Haboro and homemade vinegared mackerel made from mackerel in the coldest season when the fat is at its peak. Since many families come to the restaurant because of its location, a children's lunch is also available, which includes nigirizushi, a hamburger steak, fries, and an extra toy. This is a rare service for a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant.
A wide variety of rare fresh fish from Kochi, Shimane, and other areas outside of Hokkaido
In addition to fish from Hokkaido, there are also fisheries companies that deal directly with Kochi and Shimane, and the menu features rare fish such as isaki, usubahagi, and nodoguro, which are not well-known in Hokkaido.
Kochi's specialty, bonito, is a fast-food fish, and it has been difficult to taste it in Hokkaido's conveyor-belt sushi restaurants while keeping it at its peak of freshness. However, the only reason why the fish can be enjoyed raw instead of tataki is because of the presence of local brokers. The firm texture and rich sweetness of the fish will fill your mouth.
Have a drink at the sushi restaurant. Sake is also recommended!
Hokusan-tei also offers sake that goes well with fish. The restaurant also offers rare brands of sake, such as "Mikuyo Mai Ichigiru Sake Ichidrop" and "Ura-Gasanryu Koka," which can be ordered by the glass, making it easy to enjoy. At the time of the interview, some customers were enjoying "a glass of sake at a sushi restaurant" with a sushi platter.
The menu is current at the time of the interview. The menu is subject to change depending on the season and the day.
