The "Snow Miku Train," designed with the character "Snow Miku" to support Hokkaido, began operation in Sapporo on Saturday, November 16, 2024. The "Snow Miku Train" features a large depiction of Snow Miku in an outfit based on the "Glittering Snow Material" theme of "SNOW MIKU 2025," and will bring color to Sapporo in the winter.

The photos were taken in the premises of the train office before the train's operation.

The "Snow Miku Train" is part of the "SNOW MIKU 2025" festival in which Snow Miku (Hatsune Miku) supports Hokkaido, and has been loved by many people as a wintertime tradition in Sapporo since it began in 2011. This year's tramcar body features a large depiction of "Snow Miku" and her pet character "Rabbit Yukine" dressed in a fantastic costume with crystal and snow motifs, inspired by "Kira Kira Snow Material".

Special posters are displayed inside the train, and you can enjoy the voice of Saki Fujita, the voice of Hatsune Miku's software, in the in-train broadcasts, making just riding the train a special experience.

The "Snow Miku Train" will be in operation from Saturday, November 16, 2024 to Sunday, March 23, 2025. There are many highlights of "SNOW MIKU 2025" including the operation of "Snow Miku Train"! The "Snow Miku Snow Statue" will appear at the Sapporo Snow Festival, and the main event will be held at Wing Bay Otaru on February 8 (Sat.) and 9 (Sun.), 2025, with a variety of programs including workshops, stage events, and goods sales.
