Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, gorgeous fireworks will be shot up into the night sky to mark the beginning of Hokkaido's winter season. In addition to enjoying delicious gourmet food from kitchen cars lined up at the event site, visitors to the fireworks can also enjoy free admission to the Sapporo Olympic Museum. 2 "Hakodate Christmas Fantasy," a major Christmas event in Hakodate

Hakodate's major winter event, "Hakodate Christmas Fantasy," transforms the area in front of the Red Brick Warehouses into a Christmas-style venue. A giant Christmas tree floats on the water in front of the red brick warehouses, and the decorated illumination adds beautiful colors to the venue.

The "Premium Red Tree" will turn bright red for 15 minutes three times a day, and fireworks will be launched every day from 6:00 p.m. during the festival period, adding to the Christmas excitement. A soup bar is also available to warm up your cold body.

3 "Hiroo Manpuku Festival (55th Hiroo Hair Crab Festival)" (Hiroo Town) filled with delicious foods from Hiroo Town, including hairy crabs and shrimps

Hiroo Town's popular "Hiroo Hair Crab Festival" will be held as the "Hiroo Manpuku Festival" following last year's event. The festival features a large gathering of Hiroo's delicious tastes, such as hair crab, shamo salmon, salmon roe, and fresh salmon roe, at the venue. Of course, you will be able to taste plenty of these delicacies on the spot.

There will also be a "crab-eating contest," in which participants compete to see how many crabs they can eat in a given amount of time, as well as a raffle with prizes of local specialties. From gourmet foods to attractions, please enjoy the seasonal taste of Hiroo Town.

4 "Kamishihoro Christmas Drone Show 2024" (Kamishihoro Town): Drones cast their magic into the night sky of Kamishihoro Town.

A show using 500 drones, one of the largest in Hokkaido, will be held in Kamishihoro Town. The climax of the show will be a fireworks display, making the winter night sky even brighter. Tokachi gourmet food will be sold at the outdoor venue, and plans with special viewing seats at an indoor restaurant are also available, making it a great place to enjoy dinner and watch the night sky at leisure.

5 "Tokachi Seafood Uimono Festival" (Obihiro City), featuring an array of Tokachi's prized marine products

The "Tokachi Seafood Festival," held for the first time in five years, features a large selection of seafood from the Tokachi region, including boiled hairy crabs, salmon roe in soy sauce, salmon rice sushi, and boiled octopus. These products are sure to be appreciated not only for home use, but also as year-end gifts.

A sparkling amber-colored tree will appear at the roadside station Garden Spa Tokachigawa Onsen. The symbolic tree, which incorporates motifs of nature, agriculture, and animals unique to Tokachi, shines in amber, symbolizing mall hot springs. Visitors will be given a set of Tokachi sake (or soft drink) and snacks. In addition to the sale of Tokachi food and handcraft works, workshops will also be held.

A hands-on event held at Roadside Station Rumoi.
