When there are soccer games or live concerts, the sidewalks are lined with people.

The "Daiwa House Premist Dome" and "Sapporo Dome" are the same name for the dome, and it will be operated under the name "Daiwa House Premist Dome" from 2024. It is the home stadium of the professional soccer team, Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, and is also known for hosting live concerts by famous artists from Japan and abroad.

Access to Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome)

Premist Dome_Access

The dome is about a 10-minute walk from Exit 3 of Fukuzumi Station

The dome is located in the suburbs, far from central Sapporo, so access is limited. If you use public transportation, you can get there by subway or bus, but it is most common to walk from Fukuzumi Station on the Toho Subway Line.

If you go to the Dome by subway

The nearest station to the Dome is Fukuzumi Station on the Toho Subway Line. Take the Toho Line train bound for Fukuzumi from Sapporo Station for about 13 minutes, then walk for about 10 minutes from Fukuzumi Station to the Dome. However, during major concerts, the sidewalk from the station to the Dome is not particularly wide, so be sure to allow plenty of time to walk.

Especially after an event or live performance, there will be a large number of people moving around, which will make travel times longer. The ticket vending machines at Fukuzumi Station will also be very crowded, so we recommend charging your transportation IC card such as SUICA in advance.

If you go to the Dome by bus

There are several bus routes that stop near the Dome. In addition to Sapporo Station, buses depart from Hiragishi Station and Makomanai Station on the Namboku Subway Line, and Nango 18-chome Station and Oyachi Station on the Tozai Subway Line. However, each route only runs once or twice an hour, so these routes are best for those with ample time.

Buses departing from Sapporo Station can take you directly from the "Sapporo Ekimae" bus stop to the "Sapporo Dome" bus stop. The ride takes about 32 minutes, but this may vary depending on traffic conditions, so we recommend allowing yourself plenty of time.

Additionally, the Sapporo Station bus stop is located a little ways from Sapporo Station, south of the Sapporo Tokyu Department Store. If you are transferring from the JR line, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the ticket gate to the Sapporo Station bus stop, so it's a good idea to take that travel time into consideration.

If you are going to the Dome by airport shuttle bus from New Chitose Airport

Some of the airport shuttle buses that connect New Chitose Airport and central Sapporo pass right in front of the dome and also stop at the "Sapporo Dome" bus stop. This bus runs every 15 minutes during the day, making it convenient for people visiting the dome from far away, such as outside Hokkaido, for activities related to their favorite idols.

However, the last bus that stops at the Sapporo Dome bus stop is at 6 PM, so it cannot be used to return from evening or night events. If the event ends by the evening, it is possible to go directly to New Chitose Airport by airport shuttle bus, but since this bus comes from downtown Sapporo and stops at various stops within the city, there is a risk that it may be full and you will not be able to get on.

Is there a shuttle bus to the Dome?

In the past, shuttle buses were operated during large events, but as of April 2025, they are no longer in operation.
