1Pyotan Falls

Pyotan Falls is a popular spot in the Fudauchi River Park. The waterfall is a remnant of a former dam that was buried overnight by earth and sand after the river overflowed due to torrential rains. 10 meters below the surface, the waterfall cascades down in a mighty 10-meter drop, and the negative ions generated by the abundant natural forest will soothe you as you stroll along the walking trail and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

2Scenic Cafe Roadside Station Sarabetsu Sightseeing and Product Pipopa

The shop sells drinkable yogurt, liqueur wine, and dressing made from locally produced plums, as well as "Donguri no Mura Potato Chips," a popular product loved by fans nationwide. At the restaurant, take a break from driving to enjoy "Sarabetsu-san Udon" made of 100% local wheat and soft-serve ice cream topped with plum jam, while enjoying a view of the Hidaka Mountains.

3Scenic Cafe Churui (in Churui Kyoei Ranch)

This café terrace is located in Churui Kyoei Ranch, behind the roadside station. From a small hill at an elevation of 189 meters, the Hidaka Mountains and the rural landscape of Minami-Tokachi can be seen. Local volunteer staff serve coffee and sometimes entertain visitors with musical performances. Why not spend a relaxing time while enjoying delicious coffee and peaceful scenery?

4Scenic Cafe Native Flower Garden (Bansei Onsen, Taiki Town)

This is the only hot spring in Tokachi where visitors can soak in the bathtub while enjoying a view of the ocean, and boasts one of the highest concentrations of iodine in Japan. It is characterized by its antibacterial and heat-retaining effects, and the water does not easily cool down. At the "Komugi Shokudo" (Komugi Restaurant) located inside the facility, you can enjoy a variety of dishes such as "Taiki Cheese Salmon Donburi," a new local delicacy of Taiki Town. Nearby are the Tokachi Coast Lakes and Marshes, including Oikamanai-numa (Oikamanai-numa), a treasure trove of wild birds and wild flowers.

5Humvee Falls

Humbe Falls

Located along National Route 336 (commonly known as Kogane Road), Humbe Falls means "beach where whales are caught" in Ainu language. It is unusual in that the water seeping out of the rocks creates multiple waterfalls, which in winter become magnificent icicles. The Kogane Road has a rich history dating back to 1798, when Shigezo Kondo, a shogunate minister and explorer, opened Hokkaido's first man-made road, the Rubeshibetsu Mountain Road, and monuments commemorating the road's opening can be seen along the roadside.
