This ski resort stretches across the slopes of Mount Moiwa, which is 531 meters above sea level. It's easily accessible, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Sapporo, and has been popular with Sapporo residents since it first opened in 1960. Tourists staying in Sapporo can enjoy a quick run on the way back to the airport.

There are 10 different courses to satisfy everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. The one you definitely want to try is the "Tourist Road Course (2.6 km)" for beginners, where you can enjoy the feeling of trekking on snow while looking down at the city of Sapporo. Snowboarding will also be allowed on all courses from the 2025-2026 season. Automatic gates and "Domin Discount" will also be introduced to make lift use more convenient.

Nakayoshi Square is located next to the North Slope Ski Lodge. You can go sledding and play in the snow. Beginner skiers and children can also practice here. Right next to it is the spacious, gentle family slope, making it a popular area for parent-child skiers.
