Moiwa at an elevation of 531 meters. Moiwa, 531 meters above sea level. It is only a 20-minute drive from downtown Sapporo, and has been popular among Sapporo citizens since it started operation in 1960. Tourists staying in Sapporo can enjoy skiing on their way home before heading to the airport.
Snowboarding is prohibited on the slopes, which is rare in Hokkaido. There are 10 different courses, satisfying everyone from beginners to experts. A must-do is the "Kanko Road Course (2.6 km)" for beginners, where you can enjoy the feeling of snow trekking while looking down on the city of Sapporo below.
Nakayoshi Hiroba" is located next to the North Slope Ski Lodge. Sledding and snow play are available. Beginners and children can practice skiing here. The spacious gentle slope family slope is located right next to the lodge and is a popular area for parents and children skiers.
