Hinodemisaki Campsite

Overview

This is a town-run campsite. It opens every year on June 1st. There are no showers, but there is Hinodemisaki Onsen, a 10-minute walk away. The hot spring water is excellent.
Cape Hinode is a cape between Omu and Okoppe. It is about 11 km from Omu town and 11 km from the Okoppe roadside station, about a 20-minute drive away. As the name "hinode" (sunrise) suggests, this is a place where you can see a beautiful sunrise over the Sea of Okhotsk.
*Please take your trash home with you. Also, open flame grilling and campfires are prohibited. Please use outdoor fireplaces or stoves.
