A campground with a sauna was born!

Private deck sites overlooking the lake are also available, and with showers, coin-operated laundry facilities, heated multipurpose toilets, and other amenities, beginners can spend their time in peace. Next to the campground is the Wakoto Field House, where you can learn about the unique nature, flora, and fauna of this area.
The Wakin Peninsula is also the northern limit of the Minmin-zemi, and at the end of the walking path, which takes about one hour to walk around, is the Oyakotsu Jigoku, a remnant of the volcano that once existed here. Looking down from the observation deck, one can even see the rising fumaroles. Nakajima in front and Mt. Lake Kussharo and the magnificent Lake Kussharo can be enjoyed as a set. Also, fields for activities such as canoeing, SUP, and horseback riding are close by, so let's try them together with camping!
