Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park

Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park is a vast, approximately 65-hectare urban park that utilizes an entire hill from its summit to its base, and is filled with vividly colored flowers.

One corner features a 'Cosmos Garden,' where from summer to autumn, 10 million cosmos flowers, including mixed cosmos and yellow cosmos, bloom. From spring to early summer, Ezo mountain cherries, pale pink moss phlox, and azaleas are in full bloom in the International Friendship Forest. Various flowers can be enjoyed from spring to autumn, and the park is used as a place of relaxation for town residents and many other visitors.

Additionally, within the park, there is the town-operated Miharashi Farm. True to its name, which means 'view,' it is a place with a good vantage point, and on clear days, you can see all the way to the Sea of Okhotsk. Please enjoy a pleasant time at Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park while feeling the refreshing breeze.
