The sandy campsite facing Lake Shikotsu is a free tent site, where you can pitch your tent wherever you like. 5. Poroto Natural Recreation Forest National Campground and Poroto Forest Campground (Shiraoi Town)
A campsite located at the back of Lake Poroto that makes use of the rich nature of Shiraoi. You can enjoy hiking, forest bathing, splashing around in the water, and the refreshing feeling of waking up to the sounds of birds is something you can only experience at this campsite. 6. Mt. Yotei Natural Park (Makkari Village)
Yotei Nature Park, nestled at the foot of Mt. 7. Rusutsu Furusato Park (Rusutsu Village)
This park is recommended by Rusutsu Village and is located behind the roadside station "230 Rusutsu." 8. Toya Waterside Village Takada Campsite (Toyako Town)
Located on the lakeside, Takada Campsite is a base for enjoying the water and greenery. It has a center house with shower rooms and a coin laundry, as well as a multi-purpose sports field with a running track and soccer field, making it an attractive spot for use not only for leisure activities but also for sports training camps.

9. Hidaka Sarukawa Auto Campsite (Hidaka Town)
This campsite is located at the foot of the Hidaka Mountains, along the Saru River. The site area is 220,000 m2, and you can enjoy playing in the river and forest bathing. There are 103 car sites and 100 free tent sites, as well as a barbecue house, bungalows, and a cooking building. There is also a dog run, and pets are allowed.

10. Hangankan Forest Park Campground (Niikappu Town)
Hangankan Forest Park covers a vast area of approximately 66 hectares and is covered with Cape Hangan overlooking the Pacific Ocean and virgin broadleaf forests. You can stroll along the promenade while admiring the wide variety of flowers and wild birds, or play freely on the field athletics. 15. Naumann Park Campground (Makubetsu Town)
This campsite is located in Naumann Park and can be enjoyed by both children and adults. You can choose from three sites of different shapes depending on your purpose. There are also roadside stations, hot springs, park golf courses, and other convenient facilities in the surrounding area. The facility will be renovated in 2023, and toilets and water pipes will be added to the toilet building, making it even more comfortable to stay here.

This campsite is located on the shore of Lake Takkobu, a small remnant sea lake with a circumference of 5km. It is a great spot for exploring the marshland, where you can observe the marshland's flora and fauna, wild birds such as kingfishers, white-tailed eagles, and grey herons, and in the summer you can even see fireflies. 23. Hakodate City Toi Water Park Auto Campsite (Hakodate City)

This campsite is located on the grounds of the Genghis Khan & Friendship Farm "Hitsuji no Oka," located at the foot of the Tokachi Mountain Range.
