The Hokuto Jinya Cherry Blossom Festival in Hokuto City offers fantastic cherry blossom scenery, including weeping cherry trees at Hokkameji Temple that are over 300 years old, a cherry blossom tunnel at the former Togirichi Jinya of the Matsumae Domain, cherry blossom trees along the Ono River, and 1,000 cherry trees along Kiyokawa. At night, the illuminated cherry blossoms attract visitors, who can also enjoy food stalls and BBQ using local ingredients. EVNET 11 "The 75th Morimachi Cherry Blossom Festival" (Morimachi)

The "Morimachi Cherry Blossom Festival" will be held at Aobagaoka Park in Morimachi. For two weeks, approximately 1,000 cherry trees of 16 varieties, including someiyoshino, the northernmost cherry tree in Japan, will be in full bloom. There will also be a singing show, karaoke scoring battles, a banma competition, and various other events at a special venue, as well as an animal petting experience for families and fireworks. Please spend a special time under the illuminated cherry trees to feel the arrival of spring.
