1〈Scenic Byway Information Base〉 Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center, Shikotsu-Toya National Park (Chitose City)

When you arrive at Lake Shikotsu, go to the Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center first!
You can learn about the history of the formation of Lake Shikotsu, the still active volcano, the ecology of the creatures living around Lake Shikotsu, and the world inside the lake, while having fun. After learning all about Lake Shikotsu at the Visitor Center, let's dive into the nature. You can also rent a bicycle for a short trip (until early November in R3).

Dip into Lake Shikotsu! Why don't you get healed in the water with all your might?
At "Ocean Diz", you can enjoy diving in Lake Shikotsu all year round. Even if you are not a good swimmer, it is okay because you will practice slowly where you can reach your feet. If you are not comfortable in the water, you can take a fat bike ride to explore the waterfall!

3〈Activities〉Shikotsu Guide House Kanoa

Relax on the water. Take a canoe to the headwaters of the Chitose River.
At Shikotsu Guide House Kanaa, you can enjoy the program with your five senses as you canoe over the crystal clear water and see the forest and underwater life that changes with each season. Take a break, enjoy a cup of tea, and take a canoe tour at SOTOCafe.

4〈Scenic Cafe〉 Memere (Chitose City )

After enjoying the activities, take a break at the Scenic Cafe in Lake Shikotsu Onsen Town.
The name of the restaurant is "Grandma" in French. The name of the café means "grandmother" in French, and the owner hopes to inherit the "spirit of hospitality" of Marukoma's grandmothers. We recommend the Chip Dog (*), a sandwich of Lake Shikotsu's famous Hime-masu trout, and the Marukoma Aged Manju, a deep-fried onsen manju (bun)!
*Chip is a nickname for the hime-masu trout.
