■What is Takise Coast "Shirafura"?
Takise Coast, which has been called "Shirafura" and loved since ancient times, meaning "white sloping land," has white cliffs about 20m high towering for approximately 500m, forming a beautiful coastline full of exotic atmosphere. It is said that these white cliffs were formed by the uplift of strata created by pumice ejected from a volcanic eruption approximately 5 million years ago accumulating on the seabed.
