Lunch buffets at hotels and restaurants are very popular nowadays! Especially in the past few years, the quality of the food has greatly improved, resulting in a high level of satisfaction. We have selected a series of buffets from among those we have eaten at in Sapporo City. We introduce a series of buffets in Sapporo that we would like to repeat. Please refer to them when choosing a buffet to visit with your friends or with a group of women.

Located on top of the Susukino landmark "Coconosukino", the restaurant has an excellent location!

BAR&GRILL Splish

Opened in January 2024, SAPPORO STREAM HOTEL is conveniently located on top of the always bustling Coconoskino and directly connected to the Susukino subway station, making it a great place to meet up. The very popular lunch buffet has a long line of customers waiting before their reservation time! The hotel staff, who excel in hospitality, guide you to your seats one by one. The seats are spacious and there is a relaxed atmosphere with a good lead-in to the buffet table.

The menu features about 25 dishes prepared by the chef, who has experience as a French chef, using ingredients from Hokkaido.

The buffet includes a variety of dishes such as cold appetizers, Western dishes, and a vegetable bar, but the most popular is the demonstration corner. Carbonara made with Grana di Ezo from Sapporo's Fattoria Bio Hokkaido cheese factory is a dish in which the aged cheese Grana di Ezo is used as a bowl and hot pasta is tossed in it. It has a rich aroma and full-bodied, authentic taste.

The demonstration area is crowded at first, but it calms down after a while, so I recommend staggering your visit!

Another signature dish is grilled beef. Two types of sauces are available, but the wasabi sauce goes especially well with it! Refills are free, which is great for meat lovers. The type of meat here is said to change. The official website introduces monthly menus, so check it out in advance.

The vegetable bar offers a daily selection of fresh salad vegetables and hot vegetables. What is surprising is the taste of the vegetables themselves. Fresh, crispy leafy greens and slow-grilled, oven-roasted vegetables are just as delicious as the vegetables themselves. You can also arrange them yourself with nuts, olive oil and dressings. I also recommend combining cold meats.

Lettuce and other leafy greens are crispy and crunchy. The original flavor of the vegetables is strong and you can feel the goodness of the ingredients.

One of the concepts of this buffet is to convey Hokkaido's local cuisine and food culture through food, as a restaurant that serves as a hub connecting Hokkaido's producers and us, the consumers.
