SPOT
Roadside Station "Lake Saroma" and Product Center "Minori"
The Roadside Station "Lake Saroma" and Product Center "Minori" are located along Route 238 facing Lake Saroma.
These facilities are designed in the image of a "barn" and "silo" of dairy farming, which is the core industry of Saroma Town. The facilities are equipped with spaces where tourists and drivers can freely rest, and are used as a stepping stone for visitors to Lake Saroma.
The restrooms, which are available 24 hours a day, were registered as a Michi-no-Eki in 1997, making it the 51st Michi-no-Eki in Hokkaido.
In addition, various local specialties and products of Saroma, such as scallops, pumpkins, beef, etc., are displayed and sold at the "Minori" product hall. In addition to local products, the store also offers a variety of specialties from the Okhotsk coastline, making it a good base for souvenirs from the East of Hokkaido. Of course, local delivery is also available.
On top of the hill, there are lodging facilities "Yurinkan," a farm for hands-on experience, and Fureai Farm, etc.
