A free outdoor screening will be held for the first time at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza (Akapla), located in front of the former Hokkaido Government Red Brick Building. Food trucks will be set up at the venue, and you can also bring your own food and drinks. "Rail Carnival in Otaru" is a foot-operated trolley ride that takes in the breeze on the historic Temiya Line in Otaru. The trolley rides along the abandoned Temiya Line, running from Otaru Station Chuo-dori to the Otaru Port Inaho Line. It's not only a great way to see Otaru, but it's also a special experience that's recommended for families, as it's free for elementary school children on Children's Day, May 5th.

This festival is held in front of the Hanada Family Guardhouse, a nationally designated important cultural property in Obira Town, where you can enjoy the history and cuisine of Obira Town.
