Aimed at entrepreneurs and those aspiring to start a business, this talk session entitled "Management Secrets to Increase Growth Potential" will teach the secrets of management, such as the management skills needed to grow a business or company, and how Hokkaido's leading entrepreneurs and managers overcame obstacles to get to where they are today.
The second part of the event will be a social gathering with the speakers, providing an opportunity for them to talk with participants in a relaxed atmosphere.
<Speakers introduction>
・Ryoichi Nishizawa (CEO, NeoCareer Co., Ltd.)
Born in Hokkaido in 1978. Established NeoCareer Co., Ltd. in 2000 and became CEO in 2002. The company boasts high growth potential in areas such as human resources (new graduates, mid-career, engineers, overseas), media, nursing care, and childcare. Currently, the company operates 76 locations in Japan and 11 locations in 7 countries overseas, with over 3,000 employees. Based on the company-wide PURPOSE of "treating people sincerely and opening up the future," the company is focusing on each HR area and aiming for further growth.
・Hiroki Toyama (CEO, Satsudora Holdings Co., Ltd.)
Born in Sapporo in 1976. After graduating from a university in Sapporo, he joined a daily necessities wholesaler. In 2007, he joined Sapporo Drugstore Co., Ltd. While serving as the head of the sales department, he founded Regional Marketing Co., Ltd. in 2013 and launched the Hokkaido common point card "EZOCA" business. In May 2015, he became Representative Director and President. In August 2016, he founded Satsudora Holdings Co., Ltd. and became Representative Director and President. Based on the concept of "Connecting the region and leading Japan to the future," he aims to create new problem-solving businesses by utilizing the assets of stores and communities.
・Takuya Irisawa (CEO of Ecomott Co., Ltd.)
Born in 1980 in Sapporo, Hokkaido. After graduating from Highline Community College in the US, he joined Crypton Future Media, Inc. in 2002, where he was involved in the operation of a mobile content website. In 2007, he established Ecomott, Inc., which provides IoT solutions. The company provides one-stop services for IoT device manufacturing, communication infrastructure, application development, and cloud service operations. The company was listed on the Sapporo Stock Exchange Ambitious in 2017 and on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in 2018. In 2019, he won the Grand Prize at the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Entrepreneur Awards. He has served as chairman of the Hokkaido IT Promotion Association since May 2019. He will be appointed as Assistant to the Sapporo City CDO in April 2022.
・Hajime Ishimizu (President and CEO of Ishiya Confectionery Co., Ltd.)
Born in 1982. After graduating from Toyo University, he studied abroad in the UK and Switzerland for a year. After joining Ishiya Confectionery in 2004, he attended the night school of Koen Gakuen Culinary and Confectionery College while gaining experience in the manufacturing field. In 2007, following the scandal over the falsification of Shiroi Koibito expiration dates, he established a new quality control department and became a director. In 2013, he attended Otaru University of Commerce Business School and earned an MBA. In the same year, he became the representative director and president of Ishiya Confectionery and Ishiya Shoji. Based on the management philosophy of "sweets that create happiness," he creates happiness every day for customers, employees, and Hokkaido.
・Yumiko Iwasaki (CEO of Rank Up Co., Ltd.)
Born in Tobetsu Town. Graduated from Fuji Women's Junior College. Joined JTB. Later, moved to an advertising agency and was transferred to the Tokyo headquarters. Although she achieved top sales performance and was appointed as the director and head of the sales department, she was troubled by her damaged skin due to her non-native lifestyle and long working hours. Later, in order to solve her own skin problems, she founded Rank Up Co., Ltd. and sells her original brand MANARA. The hit product "Hot Cleansing Gel" has been ranked first in the warm cleansing category for 10 consecutive years, and is currently expanding into Asia. In addition, since 80% of the employees are female, she has created an environment where women can balance work and child-rearing, and has achieved a 100% return-to-work rate. She aims to create a society where women do not have to give up on their potential.
